The New York State Education Department named Paul D. Schreiber High School, Carrie Palmer Weber Middle School and South Salem Elementary School as New York State Reward Schools for high performance.

The Board of Education adopted a resolution that will grant certain qualified veterans and/or Gold Star Parents residing within the district a partial real property tax exemption pursuant to the amended New York Real Property Tax Law Section 458-a.
