LEGAL NOTICE: Please be advised that we are pleased to report that Earth Science Teacher, Mark S. Flaum has been approved by the State Education Department for employment pursuant to Section 211 of the Retirement and Social Security Law and Section 80-5.5 of the Commissioner's Regulations. Mr. Flaum is providing an invaluable service to the District during the unanticipated absence of another 8th Grade Regents and General Science Teacher. He will receive a salary of $310.34 per diem. Consistent with applicable law and regulations, Mr. Flaum also has the legal right to continue to receive his pension while employed by the District for the remainder of the school year. We thank Mr. Flaum for his dedicated service to the District during this challenging period.
