LEGAL NOTICE: Please be advised that we are pleased to report that Interim Principal Sheryl Haimovich has been approved by the State Education Department for employment pursuant to Section 211 of the Retirement and Social Security Law and Section 80-5.5 of the Commissioner’s Regulations. Ms. Haimovich is providing an invaluable service to the District during the unanticipated absence of the Guggenheim Principal. She will receive a salary of $650 per diem. Consistent with applicable law and regulations, Ms. Haimovich also has a legal right to continue to receive her pension while employed by the District for the remainder of the school year. We thank Ms. Haimovich for her dedicated service to the District during this challenging period.
