Visitor Access Management System (Scholarchip)
The Scholarchip System is a computerized system that scans the driver's license of all visitors to the district's buildings. The system is designed to flag visitors who appear on publicly accessible sex offender databases as well as the District's student database. Staff members responsible for managing the system will be positioned at the front entrance of each building. The system will maintain a record of all visitors to the building and print a visitor pass that includes a photo ID. The District is aware that some visitors may not have a driver's license. For those visitors without a driver's license, New York State has a non-driver ID option. Instructions and the necessary NYS Department of Motor Vehicle Form will be available at the entrance to each school and posted below.
