The Class of 2014 has been a joy to meet.

They are dedicated students who take rigorous courses, and are also involved in sports, in clubs, and in drama productions.  Many stop in and say "Hi" to me in the morning, but a few still forget to sign in for first period class.  Some have come to me to discuss new clubs.  Others have already joined the Port Washington crew team.  Foods students bring me their creations, and language classes invite me to their celebrations.  They dressed up for Halloween and showed up at the InterClub Council meeting.  In truth, they keep me busy!  There are so many names to remember, simple questions to answer, and larger problems to solve.  But I've loved getting to meet each individual student and look forward to meeting them ALL.  
  
The most pressing things for sophomores these days are:
- Physicals were due to the Nurses Office by October 1st. Please contact the nurses office  767-5860 if you have not submitted your physical.
- Quarter 1 ends Thursday, November 10th.  Students should speak with their teachers about making up any missed work BEFORE the quarter ends.
- Leave Your Mark is Tuesday, November 22nd.  MSG Varsity will be filming a segment of Making a Difference at Schreiber.  All are invited to come!  (Just bring in canned food for our food drive, and leave your hand print on the Student Council walls.)
