MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT

In order to afford you an opportunity to make-up the time and effort from missing the 2013 Memorial Day Parade, you may select a project from the following assignments:

1. Write a biography on composer _____________.

The body of paper shall be three pages in length, double-spaced. Include a separate page for the cover and for the bibliography of your sources (minimum of two) for a total of at least 5 pages.

2. Play and record (cassette tape, DVD, or mp3) the following pieces of marching band music:

            Washington and Lee ( times)

            Grand Old Flag ( times)

            Star Spangled Banner (1 time) Concert Band only

            God Bless America (1 time) Concert Band only

            America the Beautiful (1 time) Concert Band only
