Grades will be based on:
· Attendance/Punctuality
o 85% attendance is required to receive course credit
o All excused absences must be made up for full credit
o Unexcused absences cannot be made up and will result in NO credit for that day’s assignment
o Excessive lateness will impact grade
· Class Effort/Participation
o Contributing to class discussions and group activities is mandatory for full credit
o Personal electronics use (texting, playing games, earbuds for music, etc…) is NOT ALLOWED in instructional spaces and will negatively impact participation grade if consistently occurs during class time. Devices will be confiscated as necessary.

o Internships will be completed during the spring semester and must be coordinated with your Social Studies teacher.
