Health Requirements
Proof of immunization against polio, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, Hepatitis B, and Hib is required by law before a child may enter school. New York State law requires a medical examination by a NY State physician for each student who is a new entrant, regardless of grade level, and all students in grades K, 1, 3, 7 and 10.
